Working principle of tablet press:
The working process of the tablet press includes feeding, filling, main pressing, forming, tablet discharging and other processes.
The upper and lower punches are driven by the punch plate to move clockwise along the upper and lower guide rails respectively. When the punch moves to the filling section, the upper punch moves upward to bypass the feeder. At the same time, the lower punch moves downward due to the filling guide, forming a cavity with negative pressure in the middle die hole. The powder particles enter the cavity through the feeder. When the lower punch passes the lowest point of the filling guide rail, overfilling occurs. The upper punch gradually enters the middle mold hole, covering the powder in the middle mold. The upper and lower punches close the mold. This process It is guaranteed that the amount of powder leakage will be small and the filling volume will not change during the compression process. When the punch passes through the pressing wheel, the compaction action is completed; finally, through the tablet discharge guide rail, the upper punch moves up, the lower punch pushes up, and the pressed tablets are pushed out and enter the tablet discharge device to complete a tablet pressing process.
